We really loved this place and have resolved to return for dinner one night to sample something more from the extensive and varied menu. The pizza smelled amazing as only dough and cheese and tomato sauce can. Excellent service, excellent portions (mostly halfs), excellent taste and cooking. House special bread, meatballs, prawns, jalapeños, chorizo, batatas, caprese, BBQ ribs and a few others! They were fantastic. The tapas started to trickle to the table at exactly the right frequency and speed and they were easily the best we’d had on this trip. The drinks were promptly ordered and delivered, sangria was lovely and refreshing. Explained all the menu, the specialities and made some recommendations. From first greeting and service from sole lunchtime waiter (sorry didn’t get name), we knew. Firstly, website states 12:30 opening, it doesn’t until 1, not an issue. Location serves the papgayos hotels and apartments in the little “town centre”. You will see the sign and the menu board is outside. Go down the path, the supermarket will be on your left hand side. If you are staying in Sandos Papagayo, then go down the road, turn left and then go over the crossing. Very crispy with a drizzle of spicy sauce and garlic sauce that just made them so nice I could not stop eating them 😃 The bravas potatoes where also delicious. While my husband liked the meatballs in sauce with potatoes. The chicken wings were crispy but not dry inside. We didn't expect potatoes with the other dishes, so felt so full, that we couldn't manage a desert. The meatballs, chicken wings, chicken parmesan and bravas potatoes. We had four small plates between the two of us. We love tapas and this one was excellent. Good job we did as the place filled up quickly. So glad that we found this place, as it made our last night something special ❤️ We booked a table for 8pm as it was for Friday night and we didn't want to be disappointed.
